This is my third hobby, and though I had done it when I shouldn't have in 2014 and 2015, I really got into it in 2016 and onward. I follow a variety of creators, though I'm more active with some of them than others, and that isn't just because some of them don't post many videos. There are issues, though. For one, blocking ads is a must for security because not only do they cause horrible lag when the Internet connection is through Wi-Fi, but malicious ones mine cryptocurrencies, and while I don't know how those work, mining them with ads can't be good.
The people I follow have quite a lot of variety. Quite a few are animators, some of which have amazing talent. Others are game developers that I follow to get more information on their creations. Some have multiple channels, so I often subscribe to multiple of the same person's channels. One example of this is an Australian guy named Wade who has four channels that I know of. I'm subscribed to three of them even though I only really follow one.
Even though my fear prevented me from doing so for a while, I gave in and made videos of my own. My first video is meant to be so bad that it's funny, but it's by far the most viewed thing on my channel. To the point where I wouldn't be surprised if the playlists I created and every other video I uploaded combined still had less views than that video.
