The lion, one of the top apex predators are located in Africa and India. Lions are known for being the king of all other animals because how powerful and strong these creatures are. There is an estimate of 20,000 lions left in the world, 26 African countires used to have lions but they vanished over the years because of illegal hunting. A group of lions are called a "pride" because they include young lions and up to three male lions.
Lions are an apex predator because no other animal can kill them efffectly but humans. They use powerful and strong attacks such as their sharp teeth and speed of 50 mph maximum in short bursts. The lion stalk their prey and when the time is ready the pounce on their prey with strong claws. They began to knock over their prey and break their neck with their jaws and claws around its throat.
